I used to teach but I've recently decided to become a doctor instead. I grew up every summer at a camp with no electricity or running water, living in a shack with a water pump and a fire pit, and worked as a counselor there for the best years of my life so far. I've also spent time camping in the Amazon in Ecuador, and I've toured the Galapagos Islands as a T.A. for a biology class at my college.
